Adobe: You suck.

I had to download Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 today to test something out.

Here was the process:

  1. Go to adobe’s web site and select the version of Windows I have. SP1? SP2? 4? How should I know? How about explaining how to look for that, eh? Ah hell, I’ll just pick one.
  2. Ok, done already? That was fast. Oh…that was just an installer to launch the Adobe downloader. Now what? Downloading 3 more files. Ok. Whatever…I have other things to do.
  3. OK, yea, fine install it there. Yes, next. OK, NEXT. Sheesh. INSTALL ALL READY
  4. Huh? Web Photo Album? WTF? I just want reader. NO, I don’t want to install it. YES! I’M SURE
  5. OK, back to IE. HOLY CRAP!? WTF IS THIS…?
