Broadband adventures, Round 2

Last night, after waiting a month for my Earthlink DSL modem, I canceled the order. They asked “Why?”

  1. Waiting 30 days for a modem.
  2. Lack of effective communication about the status of my order (online order status either false or out of date).
  3. I was tired of waiting.
  4. You billed me for a month of service at full price, even though I had a “3 months for the price of 1″ promotion.
  5. All this and you wanted to tie me under a 1-year contract.
