Cafe MN = Good Food + WiFi
I work in the capital complex in St. Paul. This is a barren land of marble-clad government building surrounded by parks with odd sculpture and nary a sign of edible food. Yea, there’s the employee cafe, and a few good Vietnamese places if you’re willing to hike, but that’s about it. It’s no Minneapolis.
The other day, once again figuring out where to go, I remember that the Minnesota History Center has a cafeteria-style restaurant. It’s called Cafe Minnesota and is a pleasant place to visit. The food is great for the price (around $6 per meal) and is often locally grown ingredients. Plus, free WiFi. Which is always good.
(P.S. if you’ve never visited the Minnesota History Center, it’s worth a visit…especially if you’re looking for a cheap place to take the kids some Saturday morning.)
