I replaced my factory stereo with an aftermarket one just to get a line in jack. it works fantabulous. A USB port wouldn't do me much good... and I'm a dyed in the wool geek. I don't care if it's USB or something more limited or proprietary. It would just be so nice if there was someway to connect a player to a vehicle. Why not a simple "line in" on the auto stereo? Seems to be the easiest solution. It's clear what it's for, and you don't have to worry about people plugging printers into the car. FM transmitters and cassette adapters are dumb dumb dumb.
