For you, that means, just download the Windows or Macintosh version and you’ll automatically receive the current 14 PodcastMN podcasts.

MnBits

It’s Friday. Time to clean out the closet of links I didn’t get around to creating full posts for.
Sproutliner
Sproutliner is a free web-based to-do list similiar to 37Sig’s Ta-Da List. Ta-Da list excels in simplicity. Sproutliner sticks with that, but it requires a learning curve to reach it (is that an oxymoron?). It also uses [...]

How’d You Find Out About MNteractive?

Digging through server logs is always interesting. I wanted to share some of the more interesting ways people have found MNteractive.com using Google, Yahoo, or other search engines in Q1 2005.

Twin Cities Car-Sharing Hubs Annouced

“Residents living and working in Uptown, Loring Park, and Lowertown will soon be able to reserve cars by the hour with HOURCAR. We’re very excited to bring car-sharing to the Twin Cities in Uptown, Loring Park, and Lowertown.”

Also seems like an excellent way to test drive a 2005 Toyota Prius.

PacMan Must Die - You Help

A Swedish University put 2 new twists on the first video game I ever played.

You control the ghosts, your job is to recover the dots PacMan stole.
When your ghost goes through a door, it leaves your screen and reappears on someone else’s screen

More info: PacMan Must Die
That’s so cool.

Today, Everyone will be Famous to 15 People

Chuck Olsen’s Blogumentary was screened at the U tonight. As an added bonus, Dan Gillmor was part of panel discussion on citizen journalism afterwards. Also in the conversation:

Shane Nackerud, the maintainer of the UThink Project (imagine TypePad for all students and faculty at the U). Here’s some cool things about UThink: it falls within [...]

If you ask, they’ll help you build it.

I just finished, and highly recommend, Joe Trippi’s book, The Revolution Will Not Be Televised. In it, he describes what made the Dean campaign successful - the community behind it. In fact, the campaign wasn’t driven by Dean - it was driven and built by the community. In contrast to the “if you build it, [...]
