The State of MN has a survey up for citizens to provide feedback on budget accountability. Unfortunately, the questions and answers are so oversimplified and generic that I can’t imagine this actually helping the citizens of the state. Methinks this is a tool to produce rhetoric moreso than results.

Then be sure to check out Circus Juventas’ pirate-themed performance Swash! Circus Jueventas is a St. Paul’s own local-grown version of Cirque De Soleil hidden away in a beautifully designed big-top in Highland Park. $12.50 a ticket for a full 2 hours of amazing circus performances. (And they don’t gouge you at the concesssions, either!)

According to a recent Strib article a fourth town is entering the Lets-Cover-the-Town-in-WiFi race: Clearwire Inc. will offer the [wireless broadband] service in two cities this summer, Jacksonville, Fla., and St. Cloud, Minn. Next somebody’ll announce plans to cover the Boundary Waters in Wi-Fi!
Today’s Pioneer Press reports that Chaska is planning to cover the entire city in a wi-fi network. With this effort and the WiMAX race to cover Mpls & St. Paul, Minnesota should be able to keep visiting geeks need for access satisfied.
