Just got back from a long weekend in Portland. Every resident of the Twin Cities should be sent to a city like Portland for a week to finally ‘get’ why light rail is so great.
Not only do we need lightrail and need people to “get it”… We need to make sure that Minneapolis takes advantage of arguably the most important thing George Bush has ever done. The Fedral Transportation Bill increased funding for bicycling and walking paths. More here.
