Design By Committee
Reading through this article on working with designers I came across a quote attributed to Bill Cosby:
The only sure way to failure is to try to please everybody.
And a variation here:
I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.
Everyone loves Bill Cosby, right? This will come in handy at my next management meeting where I explain the pitfalls of ‘design by committee’ once again.
