Election day. THE AFTERMATH!

We survived another election day. Let’s recap.

Texas, thanks to some help from the KKK, has officially written discrimination into their consitution. It’s about time they made their homophobia official. (And good for you, Maine, you’re both at the physical opposite end of the country as Texas as well as having an opposite view of civil rights…you seem to support them)

What else…oh–Kansas has decided science is bullshit. On the plus side, Pastafarianism appears to be getting a boost with an $80,000 grant to write a bible.

It appears that California staved off another attack by the Terminator, voting against all 4 of his backed propositions, albeit by a close margin in some cases.

ABC reports that Cincinnati gets their first black mayor and VA and NJ now have democratic governors (with NJ breaking an election campaign record of 70 million dollars. sigh.).

Locally, we have another Coleman in the Mayor’s chair here in St. Paul. Will this one, like the previous Coleman–as well as the previous Mayor–become ‘politically confused’ mid-term? Only time will tell.
