Feb. 5 12 Twin Cities UX Meetup, Topic: Agile development

Hello UX amigos –

Notice the new name, “UX Meetup”. It’s a broader term that welcomes IxD, IA, research, development, etc.

The next Twin Cities UX Meetup group will meet Feb. 512. The topic will be agile development. As usual, a few local professionals who have worked on this topic will help jump-start the conversation. Ben Edwards of rafactr has given numerous talks on Agile and will be with us that night.

Here are details of the meeting:
*Tuesday, Feb. 512
*5:00-7:00 p.m.
*at the Local in downtown Minneapolis (www.the-local.com, 931 Nicollet Mall) Brits in downtown Minneapolis (1110 Nicollet Ave, http://www.britspub.com/) — (Note: Look for the table sign. I will try to get an enclosed table area, and also let the host/hostess know how you can find us.)

With regard to location — please email me any suggestions for alternative locations. The enclosed table areas at the Local are a bit crowded for us, and the main area is WAY too noisy.

Also, a big “Thank you” to Jamie Davis of iRise for picking up the tab for our last meeting!

Upcoming UX Meetups include:

March 4: Rapid Prototyping Tools (e.g. iRise, Axure, etc.)
April 1: Data-driven design

If you have questions, please feel free to contact either myself or Garrick (email@garrickvanburen.com).

I look forward to seeing/meeting you!
