Idea to steal: Car Slow Cooker

‘Tis the season where news reports begin trickling in about those laughably forgettable parents who–oops!–forget to drop the kiddies off at preschool and subsequently cook them to death in the bank’s parking lot.

Which, gave me an idea (other than enacting some sort of ‘Hey…IDIOT…your kids are still in the back seat alarm)…

The Summer Car Slow Cooker! We’re all pressed for time these days, and we’re also all looking out for the environment. As such, I’d like to introduce the Car Slow Cooker! Simply place this solar gain box in your back seat and secure via the seat belt (don’t want hot gravy splashing you in the back). Place a 8lb turkey in the box and drive to work. Simply park in the sun and have fun at your 9 hour work day. At the end of the day, enjoy your half hour commute back home full of delectable smells of that slow roasted turkey. Be the hero of the day as you walk in the door with your meal prepared!

I was fairly proud of myself for coming up with that idea until someone pointed out that I was beaten to the punch.
