iTunes Movie Store: Disney vs. Target
I’ve spent no more than $47 at the iTunes store - despite the increased catalog; movies, music videos, etc. The difficulties of sending my “purchased” music to my new MacBook Pro confirm I have no intention of sending another 99¢ supporting FairPlay.
So, you can see why I’m not impressed by the pissing match between Target and Disney.
Mr. Steinhafel - I completely agree, Disney is selling movies on iTunes for less than they’re charging you because - the digital versions are in-fact less valuable; lower quality, not pre-backed-up, hyper-touchy DRM, can’t wrap it up and stuff it in a Christmas stocking.

Man, Target is increasingly heading towards the ‘we simply don’t get it’ these days. They hate bell ringers. Despise blind people. Now they hate tech users? Sigh.
I don’t know how much I’ve spent on iTunes. which is dangerous, yet so convenient. Just hit BUY and they grab the money somehow themselves for you. ;o)
That said, I agree, it’s still DRM. For me, it usually ends up on a CD in my car. But one of these days it’s going to hit me that I want a new computer and migrating this is going ot be a real pain. eMusic is looking better and better every day…
