Things you’ve done:
- Creative strategy
- Branding and identity systems
- Testing of concepts, including focus groups
- Working as part of an experience design group that incorporates information architecture and usability.
- Demonstrated understanding of and proficiency in leveraging an industry-standard development methodology, such as the Rational Unified Process.
- Experience with design for content management systems such as Vignette, Interwoven, Broadvision, OpenMarket, or Websphere is a plus.
Things you’ll be doing:
- Create visual treatments for online projects of all shapes and sizes
- Capable of developing hand coded Web Standards based CSS and HTML
- The ability to clearly communicate ideas behind the visual design
- Management of the U.S. Bank online photo library and use of its images
- Development of content in the various U.S. Bank UI style guides
- Act as a steward of the U.S. Bank brand in the web channel
- Art direct the work of third-party vendors
- Fulfill service requests involving visual assets
- Creation of banner ads and other promotional images, including creative concepting
- Evangelize the user to a fault at all stages of the development process
- Lead by example with the use of U.S. Bancorp’s process and development methodologies
- Assist in the ongoing definition of U.S. Bancorp’s evolving user experience standards
- Represent U.S. Bancorp in a positive and professional manner internally and externally at all times.
