[Job] Usability Engineer / Interaction Designer at Symantec in Roseville

Here’s what they’re looking for:

  • 7+ years experience working in interaction design, GUI design, and/or usability
  • MA/MS in Human Computer Interaction, Usability, Human Factors, Industrial Design, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience documenting user requirements, user interaction design, and GUI design
  • Solid knowledge of Windows, Web, Java, and cross-platform GUI standards
  • Experience with low and high-fidelity prototyping (creating prototypes and demos with Macromedia Flash is desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the software development process
  • Ability to collaborate with other members of a software development team
  • Experience leading and facilitating design meetings
  • Strong skills in mediating and resolving competing requirements and designs
