INFORMATION ARCHITECT
In conjunction with other team members, the IA will design and document core functionality, interface design and user experience based on client business requirements. Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to create smart, innovative online solutions for our clients.

*** Candidate must have a strong Marketing & Graphical background and ability to interface with Large Clients (Presentation Skills, etc.) ***
Major Areas of Accountability/Key Result Areas
Produce clean, concise site maps, transaction flows, diagrams and interface schematics, designing wireframes, flowcharts, application behavior and user experience to conform with client marketing goals.
Lead the creation of consistent information hierarchies for site navigation on both a system-wide level and a page-by-page or screen-by-screen level, while adhering to design uniformity within and across projects.
Work closely with account planners and clients to help define target audiences needs and other motivating factors and translate them into innovative online solutions for our clients.
Present, clearly and concisely, various stages of interface design development to clients.
Stay current with industry best practices and ensure incorporation into client programs.
Work with research partners to design and conduct usability studies.
Prerequisite Knowledge
Broad understanding of the Web and associated technologies, extensive knowledge of human/computer interaction and usability and information architect tools to create wireframes and prototypes.
Prerequisite Skills
A keen sense of diplomacy and collaboration (e.g. ability to listen to and translate requirements from a wide variety of stake-holders.)
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to work with account management, design and programming /development teams to make ideas into actual product.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization, logic and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio is essential.
Prerequisite Experience
4+ years experience in information architecture for large, high traffic websites with complex data models.
A solid portfolio of IA deliverables (including site maps, functional specifications, wireframes, personas and user scenarios).
