Ohida: The New State

So… did you vote? Voter turn out was higher than it has been in the past few elections, so I think you must have. Well good for you! Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Well, for a job done anyway.

We have another state in the union as of yesterday. Did you know? Ohida. Ohio was succeeded in favour of a state as incapable of holding properly governed elections as Florida, but whose climate is butt-feezing cold. For those of us that loved the confusion and turmoil of Florida 2000, but who also hate the heat.

Provisional ballots. The new, new buzzword. For those of you that don’t know what it means here is a brief synopsis: Those too stupid to know where they are supposed to vote can vote anywhere in the state of Ohida. Then, the people that came up with the provisional ballot idea determine if you were indeed in the right place and either count your ballot, or not. Smart, huh?

Oi.

Thank you Ohida. Thank you for continuing the 2000 election ideals and principles into the 2004 elections and for keeping the faith alive!

More on the election as the day unfolds…
