Remove Ads and Spam with the CustomizeGoogle FireFox Extension
Coming through the ‘for:garrick’ del.icio.us tag this morning is the CustomizeGoogle Firefox extension.
It promises ad removal, spamblog removal, and direct links to Google Images.
With GoogleAnalytics non-functioning on Safari, I’m spending more time in Firefox. So, yeah, I installed it. Thanks go to Erik Haugo.

RE the google image direct link- I use Opera as my browser and was very pleased when google image link userJS was created (userJS is like greasemonkey).
I’ve always thought the google image linking was the most annoying search result ever. This script direct links to the image and includes a link to “see context”
