Excellent concept! And thanks for sharing the evolution of the design.

Another way to get the "M" and the "N" closer would be to reduce the size of the dialogue bubbles while retaining the size of the letters. It would avoid any cross-eye effect. I like the linear-ness of the logo but a vertical offset between the bubbles might look nice too.

I like it.

If I were to give feedback on what I would do different = with the two bubbles lined up exactly to each other, it doesnt feel as "interactive" as it could? What if the "N" bubble were raised a bit in relation to the "M" presenting a sort of "see-saw or give-and-take" impression?

I like the color too (I am partial to green lol)

My only nitpick is that the M and N seem a bit detatched. I'd maybe suggest experimenting with the baloons a bit...perhaps try overlapping them. But, really, it's great and a hell of a lot better than 'what cheesy font is on my machine' attempt that I made. ;o)

Are you looking for feedback? If not, looks great! (If so, I'd suggest a few minor tweaks...)

Mark, thanks for posting the new identity - and all the sketches leading up to it. I'm quite pleased with how simply you've captured the notion of dialog.
