Utne Magazine Sold to Ogden Publications

Just got word from an inside source that the Utne magazine has been sold to Ogden Publications (Mother Earth News, Grit, etc). Officially. Today.

15 years ago, the Utne aggregated and filtered the innovative and progressive writings from important and hard-to-find sources. Still do – though the internet and RSS make it easier to BYO-Utne. Plus, the sources have increase a googol-fold. That’s the interesting bit. Utne’s editorial expertise is needed now more than ever.

Onward, to the next evolution.
