I recently joined EatonGolden and we are looking to add a front end wizard to our team.

WEB DEVELOPER

SUMMARY
EatonGolden, a Minneapolis-based interactive consulting firm, is looking for a front-end web developer to join their team. This role requires expert technical skills and a passion for collaboration and creative problem-solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES
A front-end Web Developer at EatonGolden:

* builds functional prototypes from technical specifications
* creates detailed documentation to clarify standards and technical processes to IT groups as well as non-technical audiences
* identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions
* proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with team members and cooperates with a wide variety of people to achieve results
* shares skills with team members through formal and informal channels
* assumes additional responsibility without being asked

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate is/has:

* advanced skills in front-end UI web development including CSS, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript
* experience creating AJAX web applications
* understanding of AJAX impact on site security and performance
* familiarity with OOP scripting languages such as JSON, PHP and ActionScript
* able to create cross-platform, cross browser code that is clean, extensible and compact
* able to work well in highly collaborative, cross-functional teams with limited supervision
* an organized and detail-oriented working style, with excellent communication and presentation skills
* knowledge of web hosting configuration and DNS management
* skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphics programs
* basic PC/Mac troubleshooting abilities

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in these areas are “nice to have” but not required:

* data-driven web technologies such as Java, .NET, ASP
* Flash and/or Flex development
* manipulating and/or creating mySQL, MSSQL or other databases for web applications
