At the MIMA event tonight, I heard about another local Web 2.0 company aiming to launch yet this year – Wize.com. Word is, Wize sounds like it’s something of a EdgeIO for reviews.

Reminds me, MinneDemo is coming up in a few weeks and I’ve got some development to do.

While gradients and ajax and the like have gotten a bit tiring with Web 2.0, I think my new biggest gripe is the fact that these sites are no longer putting simple tag lines on their site to actually TELL ME what the site is? Are you a ‘social bookmarking site?’ a ‘webified desktop app’? A…uh…do Web 2.0 sites come in any other flavours?
